Of course, there’s no overtime pay either.
I went to the headquarters in Yonghe for an interview.
The boss, having achieved success at a young age, was practically spinning a tall tale.
They kept telling you that this was your own business.
How much you earn depends on how little effort you put in.
If you think you’re going there to “work,” then don’t go. They’ll tell you that you’re learning to be a boss... It’s your own business, and you’ll get a share of the profits...
Four days off per month, with no labor or health insurance (they say they treat you like a boss). You have to receive the deliveries yourself; prepare an entire set of ingredients, tools, and change for doing business at the night market in the evening; push the stall out yourself to do business; find a gap to eat; hold in your urine and find a gap to use the restroom yourself; serve the customers alone while worrying whether there are enough ingredients; worry about whether anything has been stolen; then, close to midnight, clean up an entire stall cart by yourself. You have to wash and wipe everything, refrigerate the ingredients, throw things away... I don’t even know how I made it home. I woke up, and the next hellish cycle began!!!
