I waited at the site for half an hour and wasn’t even offered a glass of water. The person who invited me didn’t show the slightest apology, as if they were giving you an opportunity and you should be grateful. The receptionist seemed even more nervous than she was and made several phone calls. Given this attitude toward job seekers, I find it hard to believe that things are much better internally.

They asked job applicants to bring their portfolios to the interview. I showed up that day carrying a large bag of work, only to have an HR woman say a few words to me. In the end, she said: “There are really a lot of people interviewing for the art design position. We’re going to show your information to the manager, and if it matches what they’re looking for, we’ll ask you to come back for a second interview... That’s all for now!...”

The whole thing ended in less than five minutes. I prepared my portfolio for nothing—basically, they made a fool of me! What a joke.
