1. There are many small cockroaches in the office. They all hide in the fabric or inside the keyboards, and sometimes crawl out of the keyboards while people are working. I don't know why they don't hire someone to disinfect and exterminate the pests.
2. Parts of the office floor have collapsed. It wouldn't be surprising to twist an ankle in there one day.
3. The work atmosphere is oppressive, although some teams are quite cheerful.
4. The personnel arrangements are baffling. I wanted to resign but was asked to stay an additional month on the grounds that a replacement had not yet been found. Then the new employee arrived the following week, leaving them in the awkward position of having no seat to sit in and no computer to use. The new employee, meanwhile, had been asked during the interview to report to work early.
5. People without a relevant background may find working here more difficult.
6. Much of the time, we are busy with things like adjusting Excel formatting, which makes it feel as though we are just busywork.
Most of the new hires are beautiful women.
The warehouse has air conditioning.
The chairman is approachable.
The turnover rate is very high, and there is overtime every day. It is rare not to have to work overtime on Saturdays.
