The department supervisor and colleagues are all very nice. Everyone respects one another, the work is straightforward, and we even do morning exercises to pay attention to our health.

It may not be the best, but it is much better than many others. The benefits are comprehensive, and the bonuses for the three major holidays are almost NT$10,000 each. It’s a company that is very generous with its money. Most importantly, I was lucky enough to have a good supervisor and a good team leader.

Work four days and rest two. Operators earn approximately NT$34,000 to over NT$40,000 per month, depending on whether they work the day or night shift. The workday is 12 hours. Employees from other counties or cities are provided with free accommodation and meals. Most people start as dispatched workers. Overall, it is fairly good, but it is difficult to become a regular employee; some people have worked there for one or two years and still have not been promoted to regular status. The workload is moderate. The only two drawbacks are the long working hours—which are probably necessary to offer a monthly salary starting at NT$30,000—and the considerable difficulty of becoming a regular employee, perhaps because it depends on upper management.
