I left this company recently after spending three years there, and would like to share my experience with everyone.
The boss likes to make grand promises, loves holding meetings, loves berating people, and has very little trust in employees—he seems to have a persecution complex.
They have been saying they will go public for years, but several years have passed and they have not even conducted a public offering. Based on reports in the news media, the boss does not seem to be a reputable person. I’ve heard that many major shareholders have been stuck with their investments for years. I haven’t even seen any financial reports. Here is a related report about the boss:

They like hiring inexperienced young people because young people are easy to deceive and take advantage of. Salaries at the company are on the low side; aside from a few longtime employees, everyone else is paid poorly.

7.5-hour workday, flexible start and finish times
The boss is a former fund manager with negative news coverage. He is very busy, frequently traveling or in meetings, and berates a lot of people. The company’s systems are poor, and the turnover rate is very high, although HR will lie to you and say it is very low. During the interview, they will tell you the stock is going to IPO—just take it with a grain of salt.
Flexible working hours
Convenient transportation and dining options around the company
1. No overtime pay.
2. Reimbursement for business trips and expenses paid upfront takes a very long time to process, and they may even forget about it.
3. When overtime is compensated with time off, they deduct time here and there, including meal breaks and commuting time. You may work a full day of overtime on a Saturday or Sunday, but the time off you ultimately receive is less than one day.
4. The boss can go an entire year without signing off on the performance evaluations for the whole company. Doing extra work for the company is considered only what you should do and will not be rewarded, while if you do something poorly, they will find every possible way to punish you.
5. When company products need to be repaired off-site, you must apply to take them out under your own name. However, after the repaired items are returned, the process is a complete mess, and it is impossible to know what you have borrowed under your name or where the items are. Even when all equipment that should have been handed over before your departure has been accounted for, the company may suddenly come after you after you leave, claiming that an item has not been returned. Your supervisor and coworkers will not help you, and the company will simply deduct the money from your unpaid salary.
6. The chairman also serves as the general manager, followed by the heads of each department. However, the department heads have little authority to make decisions, and all matters, large or small, must go through the boss.
7. Every miscellaneous task at the company is assigned to the receptionist, including fixing broken lights and leaking toilets. During the lunch break, she has to buy the boss’s lunch and bring it back before she can eat, while the secretary is not required to do some of the tasks that should be handled by the boss’s secretary.
8. Engineers who smoke need not apply. After joining, nearby coworkers will repeatedly complain to the company about the smell of smoke on you. Although nothing will happen to you, they will report it once every day that you smell of smoke.
9. The company has many long-serving employees who do not do any work. One particularly grumpy employee, when you ask him for information related to his responsibilities, will only reply, “I don’t know. Don’t ask me.” This delays the work and causes many people to get reprimanded, while the boss chooses to turn a blind eye and act as if nothing happened.
10. People in certain departments have it very easy. Every afternoon, they can come out to make coffee, eat snacks, and chat. Meanwhile, people in other departments merely come out to take a short break and chat, yet it is treated as if they had committed an unforgivable crime.
There is 1 hour of flexible working time
Work pressure is not high
The office decor is nice
On-time arrival and departure (engineers); suitable for newcomers to study and improve their skills after work
Engineers do not have to deal with the bad temper of the top boss directly
Salary adjustments are extremely slow; some departments even have salaries that remain unchanged for years
The evaluation form that must be filled out every six months is just for show; in the end, you still have to depend on the top boss's mood
The software development environment is very outdated
Work is distributed unevenly; capable people work themselves to death
Overall, this is a company that sells services far more than technology
The longer you stay, the more you will lose your competitiveness
Adopting a retirement-minded attitude is not advisable
