Read the community guidelinesA good location is just an added bonus, but I think what matters more is the company environment and the work itself.
I have to say, this is truly the worst company I have ever interviewed with.
It shows utter disregard for the Labor Standards Act.
Are they looking for employees, or just inviting people in to humiliate them?!
The previous reviews were quite informative.
It was truly a waste of time.
They might as well just tell people not to go in the first place.
What a disgraceful level of professionalism.
Good location, clean environment. The boss likes hiking, but whether that is a plus depends on the person.
Applying for an engineering position:
1. They place extremely high importance on educational background. If your academic credentials are not good, you are probably out. They want graduates of relevant departments at top national universities, or non-relevant majors from slightly higher-ranked national universities. Private university graduates need not apply.
2. Overtime is required, with overtime pay or compensatory leave.
3. For candidates without a relevant degree, they do not value your side projects, believing they cannot be used as leverage in salary negotiations (seriously, what?). They flat-out say that kind of thing does not count. I genuinely have no idea what they actually want.
4. The salary is really not high (NT$40,000 even would be considered good), yet they also want highly educated talent. It is truly contradictory.
The HR staff were very friendly.
The interview lasted 2 hours, and I spent 90% of the time waiting for the interviewer. The interviewer just asked a few perfunctory questions and ended the interview. Please pay more attention to the time...
The company is conveniently located and the environment is nice.
Employees don't receive many benefits, and the company is quite prone to laying off employees.
The location is very upscale, and the boss loves hiking. Those with the same interests are welcome to join this big family!
A company that does not place much emphasis on talent; it seems to have laid off many employees in just one year.
Convenient transportation
I felt like I was being used by HR to pad their performance figures. As for the interviewer, after making me wait for quite a while after the written test, they had barely said a few words during the interview when a phone call came in and they actually told me to leave their office temporarily. Once they finished the call, they asked me to come back in and continue the interview. Then, after deciding I wasn’t suitable, they simply said they would look at other candidates and hastily ended the interview... What a terrible interviewer!
The office environment is not bad.
The requirements for this position’s “level” are very high. Those coming from the Institute for Information Industry are better off not applying; having studied or worked overseas is preferred.
You must earn the company three times your salary in order to have a chance of becoming a million-dollar talent; otherwise, you may be saying bye-bye when the project ends.
P.S. Having lunch at the company is quite troublesome!
P.S. The company is very much a business, not a charity!!!!
