The Xindian office is close to the interchange but far from the MRT station, so transportation other than driving is relatively inconvenient.
I interviewed for a sales position with a sales manager named Lin Jerry. The interview process was fine, and he mentioned that if I was interested, I could contact him and start working. He asked me to go back and think it over. However, a few days later, when I called him to confirm that I wanted to join the company, he said that I first had to pass the HR department’s approval. I then called HR, and HR said that as long as the manager agreed, it would be fine. When I called the sales manager again, he coldly said that HR would notify me. In the end, HR notified me that I had not been accepted. They were treating me like a fool—it was outrageous. Fortunately, I did not go there. With the sales manager’s attitude toward work, and the Xindian office being small and dirty, looking more like a warehouse, the company’s claim that it makes a lot of money is hard to reconcile with such a filthy, disorganized environment.

1. The salary is very average: NT$25,000 before labor and health insurance deductions, leaving NT$23,9XX
2. The ENT department supervisor has very poor emotional management skills. They expect you to learn everything you need to know within two months, and you cannot ask about anything they have explained a second time. If you cannot learn it, they tell you to get lost
