Young and quick to learn new knowledge
Places great emphasis on environmental hygiene
1. You need to be proactive about everything, from the interview through to the job. You must be able to infer one thing from ten others in order to figure out what your supervisor is trying to teach you.
2. The training is delivered verbally and seems to show no concern at all for quality control.
3. The pace is extremely fast. If you encounter someone who cannot provide training or arrange staffing, you can only fend for yourself.
The interviewer was quite nice.
The interviewer was more than ten minutes late. The application required filling in a bunch of personal and family information (what does where my parents work have to do with the position I applied for??
Foreign companies become very Taiwanese in their practices after coming to Taiwan.
--Pastry Staff at a Cake Factory--
1. Fully compliant with the Labor Standards Act
2. Very good break areas and working environment
3. Colleagues are all nice
4. Salary increases every year (just not by much)
5. Hygiene is taken very seriously
1. Because hygiene is taken seriously, going to the restroom during work is somewhat inconvenient (you have to change clothes and go through the hygiene procedures again)
2. There aren't really any particular drawbacks to mention... it's just very straightforward. If I had to point one out, it gets boring after doing it for a long time, since everything follows an SOP.
The interview was conducted jointly by the HR manager and the head chef.
Everyone was quite polite and easy to talk to.
The gifts for the three major holidays are vouchers for the company’s own products.
They are also quite proud of occasionally distributing their own products that are close to their expiration dates.
The interview process takes quite a long time.
You also need to have a separate video interview with the manager in Hong Kong.
They will not proactively disclose the salary amount.
If you do not ask, they will not mention it at all.
They will not notify you if the interview is unsuccessful.
None
They scheduled a phone interview with me a week ago, but then waited a week before telling me they were no longer interested in hiring me.
1. Relatively young, making it easier to accept new ideas
2. Clean company environment
1. Fast-paced
2. Company products are distributed during the three major holidays
3. The interview process is too lengthy
The interviewer was pleasant and respectful.
Poor integrity, leaving a negative impression.
Compared with the typical food-service environment, it is not too bad. It is not greasy, and cockroaches and mice rarely appear.
There is regular cleaning and auditing (although the employees themselves are responsible for organizing and cleaning).
You will receive the wages you are entitled to, but no more.
Break time is paid, but no meals are provided.
After the Mother's Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, and promotional periods, you can receive more than a dozen single-scoop redemption coupons.
The prerequisite is that sales performance must be good.
The pay will not increase; it is always the minimum wage.
Part-time workers do not receive the benefits that full-time employees get,
such as performance bonuses and similar incentives.
If there are benefits, full-time employees voluntarily share them with part-time workers. The company is very stingy,
so part-time workers here have little motivation.
If you damage a cake, you have to compensate for the loss yourself.
Häagen-Dazs cakes basically start at NT$1,500.
You really have to be careful when working in the back of the store.
There are a lot of promotional campaigns during peak periods, so be careful when explaining them and entering information.
