The equipment is outdated, and you have to pay for damaged tools yourself.
When it’s time to receive a bonus, the manager looks for trouble and deducts from it.
Upper management gives instructions one day and forgets them the next.
Once the manager finds out, they call you in to berate you.
You even have to sign to receive laundry detergent for washing your hands,
because the manager is afraid employees will take it home to do laundry.
When there’s a problem at work, the first thing they do is look for a scapegoat.

During the interview, they tell you the monthly salary is one amount, but it turns out to be minimum wage plus perfect-attendance bonuses, allowances, and so on. The work bonus may be only 500, and you may not even receive it. They casually issue written reports and deduct bonuses. Overtime every other week is mandatory. If there is a typhoon day off the next day, they announce at noon that day that the next day's overtime will be postponed. If you join, be mentally prepared for what it takes to earn this company's salary.
The best part is the day the manager doesn’t yell at anyone (unfortunately, there wasn’t one).
They lure you in with empty promises. They treat a few hundred dollars as if it were their life, while they drive a Tesla themselves.
They keep deducting and withholding bonuses. If you raise the issue, they’ll say the company treats you like family; but when they deduct this and that, they’ll ask, “Who do you think you are?”
They can use money to sue you into oblivion, and I’m fine with that too (they said this themselves).
The old monsters at the top are terrifying, so be careful. There are also some people who are very good at pretending to be familiar and buddy-buddy.
If you want to be treated as disposable chopsticks, go ahead and let them use you.
The manager is very good at exploiting loopholes and using petty tricks to take advantage of employees. He then uses different companies under his name to apply for foreign workers, while having them all work at the same company. He also teaches the foreign workers to lie to and deceive the Labor Bureau, and instructs them to punch two time cards, with one of the cards kept separately.
The company’s employee turnover is extremely high. When I joined five years ago, I was employee number 100-something, and now it’s already over 300! Nearly 200 people have left in five years—amazing.
The pay is very low, and they also use misleading wording to trick people into joining—for example, they say the monthly salary is NT$30,000, but in reality that means working three shifts, doing overtime, and having no regular days off, all for NT$30,000. The base salary is actually only NT$22,000. What an idiot—I could earn more doing shift work at practically any tech factory. On top of that, the manager is crazy and verbally abuses people for no reason. Before the year-end bonus, they even look for excuses to deduct it. If you take one hour of leave, they deduct one hour from your perfect-attendance bonus. They actually deduct it that way too—it’s completely outrageous.
