At the beginning of 2018, a new supervisor arrived and wielded his authority heavily. New sales representatives had to do everything according to his wishes—to the point that even when you left your seat to use the restroom, you had to ask for permission. He meddled in everything, acting as though having a higher position meant having greater expertise.
Following his instructions failed to achieve results, yet he shifted the responsibility onto the people carrying them out. It was completely impossible to get things done, and he had no respect for others. Communicating with him was extremely difficult because he would place the blame on you; he was unwilling to take responsibility.
You should carefully consider joining. The working hours are very long. Although the scheduled end time is 4:30, if you occasionally leave on time, he asks why you are leaving so early. In all my years of work, this is the first time I have encountered a supervisor with such an overbearing sense of authority.
