Read the community guidelinesAs a member of the IE process reengineering department, you get a sense of superiority, and being located close to senior management means your performance is easily noticed. The work covers a wide range of responsibilities, and you can collaborate with people from many departments on projects, making it suitable for those who enjoy solving problems.
The benefits are fairly okay. The office provides free coffee, tea bags, and fresh milk. During the holidays, there may be movie tickets or gifts, as well as discounted exercise classes.
I thought the interview experience was quite good. Maybe I came prepared with a whole array of dishes right from the start, so I was hardly asked any overly tricky questions. The salary was also higher than what is commonly posted online.
It is a responsibility-based system with no overtime pay. During busy periods, it is not unusual to leave work after 10:00 p.m. and continue working at home. Of course, you still have to arrive at work on time at 9:00 a.m. the next day.
When other departments are short-staffed, you may have to provide support. Believe me, what the original department cannot handle—or refuses to handle—is definitely not going to be easy!
After months of continuous overtime, my health examination report came back with quite a few abnormal results. Thank you, Wistron NeWeb!
Interviewed for the position: WT Elite—Operations Specialist/Administrator/Assistant
When I first went in, I was asked to introduce myself, followed by questions about my work experience. The two managers conducting the interview were very friendly. They listened attentively and asked questions while I was speaking, and even took notes on paper, which made them seem very serious. During the entire interview, they asked an incredible number of questions—more than 20, approximately—including things like what my parents do and whether my family owns or rents our home. They asked in great detail. Finally, HR came in to discuss which position would suit me, bringing the lengthy interview to an end. Overall, the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant, and everyone I encountered was very nice. However, although the interview was long and enjoyable, I ultimately received a rejection letter and do not know why.

The explanations during the interview were quite clear. My colleagues and supervisors at work were all very nice. The employee benefits were pretty good, with plenty of team dinners and clubs. Very suitable for recent graduates~
People can inevitably have a bad tone when they’re busy, so you just have to get used to it....
Basically, they only do some decorating around the holidays.
I personally interviewed for a sales position at a subsidiary of X Elephant.
They said I would be responsible for selling crabs. The manager seemed pretty good overall!
But their HR was truly awful.
They had no ability or experience, were disrespectful, and thought they were being funny.
They didn't trust the salary information provided by job applicants and required a salary statement (even though I hadn't started working there yet).
They actually called to verify my employment at my previous company. (They only did this a month later, and asked my former employer, who then found out that I had interviewed at Wen X. Although I know it wasn't a big deal, it felt really unpleasant.)
Then the next day, they sent an email declining my application. Ridiculous!
If you go for an interview, you'd better always be prepared to push back against HR's attitude
(provided, of course, that you aren't willing to accept the job).
None
This company once proactively contacted me to interview for a certain position. However, toward the later stages of the interview, HR came in to talk to me and only then said that they actually didn’t have an opening for this position at all. At that moment, I thought to myself: If there’s no opening, why invite someone to interview in the first place? What exactly are they trying to do? Then HR started saying things like how pitiful young people are when they have no experience. After the interview, I felt like I had gone there just to be humiliated! Why did I agree to their interview invitation in the first place? It was a complete waste of time~~~

Interview position: WT Elite—Operations Specialist/Administrator/Assistant
104 job description: You will be assigned to a suitable department based on your areas of expertise and the interview results:
1. CSR (Business Support Management Department)
2. VSR (Procurement/Materials Department)
3. Document Management (Samples/Approval Documents)
This interview was absolutely terrible and left an extremely bad impression. I feel like I was brought in today just to be humiliated. The interview was completely unprofessional and disrespectful, with a rather careless and perfunctory atmosphere. From beginning to end, only one supervisor was actually listening to me.
There were five people inside—apparently one HR representative and four supervisors. (When they came in, they did not introduce themselves at all, so I had no idea who was who.)
------------
The following all actually happened, with absolutely nothing fabricated:
1. Careless and disrespectful attitude:
They did not listen attentively while I was speaking, and they also did not pay attention to my answers to their questions.
Supervisor A asked a question. After I answered, Supervisor B asked something almost exactly the same as the previous question, or something I had already answered in my response to the previous question.
Furthermore, while I was answering questions, they actually wrote on my résumé, chatted, and whispered and laughed.
2. A group of supervisors entertaining themselves during the interview:
Sometimes, while I was speaking, they would think of something and start joking and chatting among themselves.
3. Constantly making me uncomfortable:
They nitpicked my résumé and asked me all kinds of difficult questions in a skeptical tone.
I feel that if you did not like my résumé, fine—but I do not understand why your company clearly had no intention of seriously interviewing me, yet kept criticizing me and still invited me to the interview???
4. Repeatedly pushing me away:
HR: Asked whether I had any other job interviews.
Me: There is one with a Chinese company.
The supervisors: Oh!! That is a great opportunity! Your prospects will definitely be very good once you join them! Chinese-invested companies are all very wealthy, and the Taipei office should be in Taipei 101, right? (My inner thought: What the hell does that have to do with you?!)
HR: Describe yourself using three adjectives.
Me: Gentle, patient, responsible.
Supervisor C: Have you ever considered becoming a preschool teacher?
Then everyone burst out laughing.
5. Disrespecting the interviewee’s faith:
After HR saw that I had previously worked at a church, they said: “Did you work there because churches are warm places where everyone is nice? It is such a gentle environment there—why didn’t you just stay there?”
The person who said that was HR, seriously???
Faith is faith, and work is work. Is there something wrong with bringing the two together like that???
------------
I feel that their behavior completely damaged their company’s reputation.
Even someone as mild-tempered as me felt that my dignity had been thrown on the ground and trampled on. I left their company today in anger.
If you were not interested in my résumé, then do not ask me to come in!!
Why waste both our time?
I spent over an hour traveling there and back, more than an hour interviewing, and over 300 in transportation costs, just to listen to you say this meaningless stuff?
I wish I had never gone.
It is supposedly one of Taiwan’s largest semiconductor distributors, yet having a team of supervisors like this is ridiculous.
Even if this was a high-pressure test, I absolutely cannot accept crossing the line by attacking someone’s faith.
If you are going to insult people like this, at least offer a higher salary, okay?
31–32K * 14 months—what exactly is there to brag about?
Average time leaving work: 7–8 p.m.; possibly later during the busy season.
Think carefully before attending the interview.
I am sharing my painful experience for everyone’s reference.
I am furious even as I type this—angry enough to be shaking.
The interviewer was easy to talk to and quite polite.
HR was very suspicious of everything you said. Although they chatted with a smile, it didn't really feel good.
It's a company that places a lot of emphasis on educational background. If you didn't graduate from a prestigious school, there's basically no need to waste your time—you'll just end up having your salary cut.
WT Elite – VSR Purchasing Management Specialist (Material Control)
No overtime pay. If you end up with the wrong person/team, you’ll be working until 8 p.m. every day and continuing to work overtime at home on weekends. It’s difficult to fill vacant positions.
The salary is around 12+3.5. Performance evaluations are entirely based on the boss’s preferences; I’ve never even seen anything in black and white.
It’s worth coming to take a look, but I don’t recommend staying too long—the things you learn are quite limited. If you have a child and need to take leave, you still have to see how the boss feels about it.
(Don’t you think a job posting that stays open 365 days a year means there’s something seriously wrong with this company?)
