Constantly working overtime
There are no advantages. Anyone considering applying should think carefully.
The position applied for is International Sales Specialist. This role mainly requires overseas travel to attend exhibitions (approximately twice a year). Foreign clients also visit fairly often, so the position involves hosting them and providing high-speed rail station transfers. Job seekers interested in developing new overseas markets may want to give it a try. There are performance targets to meet, along with performance bonuses. The company seems to have a fairly well-established system. The labeling for document categorization is done very well, and the filing folders are also clearly organized.
The company has quite a wide variety of products, so learning may be relatively challenging at first, but the company’s Quality Assurance department provides training courses. The interviewing supervisor was very busy, and I waited a long time on the day of the interview—nearly 30 minutes. The location is in Dadu, somewhat far from central Taichung. If you ride a scooter there, the route may be difficult to find at first, and the ride is fairly long.
