Read the community guidelinesApart from being very close to an MRT station, I can't think of anything appealing about working there.
This is Yuansheng Applied Materials Co., Ltd., which is currently recruiting on 104; it changed its name four years ago.
1. An untrustworthy company! I went for an interview last week and asked when I would hear about the result. They said they would notify me by Friday of that week whether I was hired or not, but I still haven't heard anything.
2. The interview was conducted separately with the hiring manager and HR. Both of them came across as quite arrogant—old-timers acting like they were so important, though I don't know what they were trying to show off about.
3. At the end of the interview, HR walked me to the door. The manager happened to be at the entrance checking and packing goods. When they saw us, they didn't even look up or say hello. In any case, from start to finish, the manager seemed very difficult to deal with. If you joined, you'd probably start getting yelled at by the second day.
Every year, there is an overseas employee trip, with a subsidy of approximately NT$10,000. The HR representative is the owner's wife and keeps a very low profile; if you are not observant enough, you might not even notice.
The company's average tenure and age are both quite low; anyone who has been there for a year is considered a senior employee. The department head is a shareholder, but has little ambition. They keep all resources and information to themselves and are very afraid that subordinates will take their clients. They have little professional expertise and only handle straightforward buying and selling. Personally, I feel that as a trading company, the business has little competitiveness in the future.
