Domestic Sales Team: (based on observation)
There doesn't seem to be any SOP; they only fix things after mistakes occur.
The senior manager doesn't really manage things. Near the end of the workday, they start scrolling on their phone and playing farming games, and when something goes wrong, they tell you to take responsibility.
The junior manager is very forceful and spends all day telling you that big companies are terrible and that you can only make big money at small companies.
Employees have to organize employee trips themselves. The person in charge is directly assigned by the boss and is required to go. I feel sorry for her, and if she doesn't go, she will be subjected to pressure based on personal favors. The boss emphasizes that this is called building team cohesion.
The workload is heavy and miscellaneous, and you still have to respond to messages from the factory side on holidays.....
International Sales Team: (based on firsthand experience)
There is only one manager serving as the supervisor, but they are very considerate of their subordinates and will advocate for them to receive salary increases.
Although they patiently teach many things, you need to have a basic foundation in this industry to keep up.
They have their own SOP (completely different from the Domestic Sales Team).
It feels more like teamwork.
The supervisor is more willing to communicate and discuss matters and improve work processes.
Those who are planning to interview for a garment sales position should think twice, because you may not necessarily be able to enter the International Sales Team.
If you would enter the Domestic Sales Team, those who are willing to work hard, handle both miscellaneous and core duties, and accept low pay may consider it.
