Recently, because of the pandemic,
working from home forced people to use their annual leave while still having to continue working.
Several times, they also did things that should have been reported.
It’s truly a terrible company.
The supervisors are all very nice.
I work in sales. This position is completely inflexible for sales work: you have to clock in and out, and being one minute late incurs a $10 penalty. There is no overtime pay. The scheduled end time is 6:30 p.m., but it is impossible to leave on time; the boss likes employees to work overtime, and you will be criticized for leaving on time. There are meetings every day at 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. For sales staff, transportation reimbursement only covers intercity bus fares; nothing else is covered! Also, business trips are not allowed on Mondays, Fridays, or the two days before or after long holidays, because the boss thinks salespeople are deliberately slacking off when they do so. Taking leave is even more difficult—not to mention other types of leave, even when you take sick leave, the boss will reprimand you. The company is solely owned by the boss, so everything is done according to the boss’s wishes. The boss is extremely stingy and self-centered, does not listen to employees’ suggestions, and the company’s turnover rate is very high—even clients ask about it. Bonuses are 100,000 at 1%, and so on. That’s the situation; everyone else can judge for themselves.
