A company that is very good at gathering information
I applied for the position of Business Manager. I initially stated an expected salary of 70–80K, and the interviewing manager said it matched the compensation they were offering.
At the manager’s request, I prepared market research and a marketing plan covering competing brands and distribution channels. Because I felt during our communications that they were very eager to get the files, I provided them. However, when I reconfirmed the salary afterward, they changed their story and said it would depend on my performance during the probationary period, with a maximum of 40K, and asked whether I would accept it.
An untrustworthy company, so I declined immediately.
