The interviewer said I would need to do market analysis, research, and surveys, and prepare a PTT presentation to see which clients there are. It was completely based on whether they liked you or not—purely a matter of personal feeling.

The salary is not just low—it is exceptionally low, with no sense of a technology-industry environment whatsoever. There is no R&D capability; the company only wants to manufacture. It is merely a private-label electronics trader, slow to respond to the market by far more than half a beat, still immersed in the past glory of making money from USB products. Many managers are of poor quality, with very few actually capable, yet they are conceited. It is merely a company with revenue exceeding 4 billion, but it puts on the attitude of a company with revenue exceeding 1 trillion. Because the salaries are low, it cannot hire anyone capable; even when capable people join, they leave quickly. Moreover, bad money drives out good, the systems are chaotic, turnover is high, and the company is not as good as outsiders imagine.
