Read the community guidelines1. The workday is eight and a half hours in total (including a one-hour break).
2. One day of birthday leave is provided.
3. Mid-Autumn Festival and Dragon Boat Festival bonuses of NT$3,000 (not sure whether this counts as an advantage, but provided for reference).
4. Most colleagues are fairly easy to get along with (about 70%) and are willing to help.
5. A soundproof booth is provided, but you will find that the people who should use it most rarely do.
1. The work procedures are changed over and over again. Asking different people results in different answers, and sometimes inconsistent document versions lead to wasted work.
2. Busy people are worked to death, while idle people are extremely free and can even do side jobs.
3. Certain people receive not only leniency from their superiors, but also abundant resources and funding. But are their abilities proportional to this? No one cares.
4. The supervisor does not care about the department's situation and is incompetent. They also make sarcastic remarks and sow discord.
5. Poor performance is blamed on the administration. It's hilarious—isn't performance the responsibility of the sales team? What does it have to do with administration?
6. Some people conveniently push tasks onto others. The fewer tasks they have, the higher their positions become, while the remaining people just keep being assigned more work and cannot do anything about it.
7. As mentioned above, the people whose workload increases are dissatisfied but do not raise the issue with their superiors. Instead, they privately ask others to negotiate their work content. If you encounter this situation, remember to refuse.
8. There are not many people in the company, but some have very loose tongues. They embellish and spread things recklessly, and may even attribute statements to you that you never made. Please be careful.
You don't have to work on make-up workdays; there is birthday leave and gift money for the three major festivals.
Those with conflicts of interest or personal connections can receive high salaries without having to work.
The company's systems are extremely chaotic; one person is expected to do the work of many, the managers are incompetent, and the boss doesn't manage anything.
People who raise problems and try to find solutions are told by the boss that they're having an episode, then are singled out or ignored as if they were invisible.
When the company wants to fire an employee without paying severance, it deliberately assigns new work in an attempt to force the employee to quit.
Even if an employee resigns voluntarily, the company spreads false statements everywhere in an attempt to smear the employee's character, and may even threaten not to provide the departing employee with an employment separation certificate.
In any case, this is a company overflowing with “talent.” It's quite impressive if you manage to work there without becoming depressed; everyone is utterly disgusting.
All I can say is: run.
