Read the community guidelinesIf you can please the boss's wife, your salary will increase quickly.
1. If you offend the boss's wife, working there will be very painful.
2. Offending the boss surnamed Tsai is even worse. He will send the other employees away and then call you a pig; legally, this does not constitute public insult.
3. This was the first warehouse inventory I had seen that relied solely on Excel. There was no inventory management system at the time, and I was even falsely accused of falsifying accounts and forced to resign.
4. Although the official end of the workday is clearly 18:00, when you try to leave, they will ask whether you have finished your work. The key point is that they will not pay overtime.
5. Anyone who must work for this company should be prepared to record video/audio at all times and should also make sure to photograph and retain evidence of their attendance records.
Deserted, with nothing to do
A typical local small family business. Unless you are a relative, you have virtually no rights or benefits. The policies and salaries can be changed or revised at any time, with loopholes everywhere, and the workplace is full of all sorts of inexplicable, parochial rules. Management will try every possible way to deduct employees’ wages!!
Meal and rest breaks are effectively nonexistent. The scheduled quitting time is 9 p.m., but in practice it is 10 p.m.; finishing at midnight is also possible, with no overtime pay. Other than labor and health insurance, there are no protections or benefits whatsoever, and employee turnover is extremely high.
A certain supervisor is very nice
Sudden overtime (meetings)
Pay cuts without notice
Working overtime from 11:00 to 21:00, with no actual break time (you are only allowed to leave after finishing reports and miscellaneous tasks, so you usually do not leave until around 21:30); only 7 days off per month; no overtime pay; during the IT exhibition period, employees were required to pay out of pocket to hire temporary workers, with only additional performance bonuses provided as compensation; lateness is calculated at NT$10 per minute; annual leave can only be taken with a supervisor’s approval; at the beginning of each month, employees must come in one hour early to assist with inventory checks; the boss has verbally abused employees several times, calling them “pigs.”
