You are required to clock out within half an hour after your shift ends, but must continue working afterward. The supervisor will remind you to clock out and say that you can apply for overtime pay, but the supervisor dislikes having to write the application, so you never actually receive overtime pay. The supervisor will also say, “You haven’t finished your work—how can you feel okay about leaving?” One supervisor speaks very disrespectfully, creating a poor work atmosphere. The supervisor is extremely emotional and speaks in a harsh and cutting manner.

The general manager is not familiar with the product.
One of the senior vice presidents is production-oriented and lacks sensitivity to sales and market trends. If an employee takes more than two days of leave, they pull a long face; when employees have unused leave at the end of the year, they sarcastically ask why they cannot take it all at once. They have absolutely no empathy. The leave system is also very weak—the company cannot afford an ERP system, so employees have to handwrite leave forms and submit them to the vice president for a signature. I worked there for several years without ever receiving a pay raise; it is purely a fixed salary. The finance department staff only play on their phones, and the bigmouths love gossiping about employees. The general manager is even more meddlesome, sometimes walking by and secretly looking at employees’ screens. She disappears at three in the afternoon. In meetings, regarding product specifications, she says, “Not interested”; regarding client projects: “Not interested.” The company is notorious for its bad temper. Remember, don’t provoke her eighteen trusted female aides—you never know when you might get fired..........

Non-production staff can leave work on time.
Low salary and no benefits, with almost no bonuses for the three major holidays. A welfare fund is deducted every month, yet there are no benefits at all. The supervisor has no sense of responsibility and only pushes tasks onto others.
