Applied for a system cabinet installation position. The job bank listing stated that applicants with at least one year of carpentry experience could start immediately. After submitting my résumé, I was notified to go to Luzhu District for an interview with Supervisor Luo. During the interview, I was told that they were recruiting apprentices, not experienced workers, who would work while learning and earn a salary. This big company talks an unbelievable amount of nonsense. No wonder the system cabinet industry has a poor reputation: O德 is expensive and the finished quality is poor. The managers are all quite old and can only serve as management staff for someone else, yet they act as if they are more impressive than people who run their own businesses. They even had the nerve to say that the company still needed around 30 system cabinet installers. For anyone interested in learning system cabinet installation, there are many opportunities elsewhere. Big companies are not necessarily better.

Pros

Interior Designer:

You can quickly learn about interior design. If you did not major in the field or have little foundation, you can start with system furniture.

The company benefits are good, but there are also certain expectations.

1. The company has its own system specifications, which differ from those commonly used elsewhere. The design software is the company-developed Yuanfang.

2. If you have no foundation, you will need to spend a lot of time learning and adapting to the environment during the first 2–3 months.

3. Designers need to know how to work independently, take the initiative to learn, and pursue performance targets (of course).

4. You need to prepare: suit trousers, leather shoes, a large calculator, a scale ruler, a laptop with a dedicated graphics card, a tape measure, etc.

5. You need to spend quite a lot of time on the job, especially at the beginning. You also need to take turns covering the store.

Cons

Overall, there is not much to criticize, because everything is relative and reasonable.

If anything, the company’s training uses an apprenticeship system. If your senior colleague is busy or you happen not to get along well with them, you will need to adapt and respond on your own.
