Pros

During the interview, the manager spoke very positively. The company offers good benefits and has arranged overseas trips for employees, with the option to bring their families. The company also has strong foresight, and so on…

Cons

The interview process was extremely slow, and HR was very inefficient. They dragged out a single result and were unwilling to clearly say whether there would be a second interview or whether I had been rejected.

I asked other friends who had interviewed at the company, and they had the same experience. Are they just inviting people in to chat?

I also feel that the HR manager lacks professional competence. They ask some key technical questions as if they are very knowledgeable, but in reality they are completely incapable. In addition, Aepon’s share price has recently fallen from over 100 to half that value twice. If you have other opportunities, I suggest looking elsewhere.

Pros

When the company is making money, it provides company cars and stock options to senior executives, and is willing to tolerate underperformers.

Cons

A Chinese-funded company in disguise, pretending to be Taiwanese.

First-line supervisors lack sufficient professionalism and are out of their depth when dealing with professional issues. The HR manager is even worse—at the level of being a source of disorder in the company—not only lacking professionalism but also attempting to force out senior members and modify the organization to obtain personal power, among other things.

The finance department disregards investors’ interests; investors should pay attention to the accuracy of the financial statements.

The company lacks forward-looking vision. Many resources may potentially be transferred to mainland China, and excessive inventory poses operational risks. Many accounts that should be recognized under Elite Material Co., Ltd. are instead recognized under Powerchip, and actual operations may be worse than the financial statements indicate.
