Read the community guidelinesThe location is remote, but the building is very new and the company has a major brand name. That is only on the surface—do not be fooled by the brand.
One person here has to handle the work of several different positions. The benefits are very poor, there are no annual salary increases, and the year-end bonus is not even equivalent to one month’s salary—it can only be described as a token red-envelope gift. You gradually lose any sense of accomplishment the longer you work here. The boss controls everything, has ideas that are out of the ordinary, and lies without batting an eye. The managers they use are all incompetent; their daily conversations are completely unconstructive, they are very fond of gossiping about others, and they always have to speak very loudly, disrupting other people’s work.
A truly bizarre company.
In a new building in Nangang, the working environment is acceptable.
However, it is merely an illusion.
The boss tells the truth only about 20% of the time every day because they are very good at lying. The managers there are exactly the same: incompetent, unable to use even office software, and incapable of analyzing data. What’s funny is that when they mistype a file, they get nervous and ask an assistant to check it, afraid that randomly typing on the computer will make it explode. After working there for several years, they still cannot understand product numbers. They constantly verbally emphasize how wealthy they are, type on the keyboard as if they have a grudge against it, and always use speakerphone at maximum volume when making calls. Every day, they tell counter staff member A what is wrong with counter staff member B. The personal attacks are so severe that they criticize everything from people’s intelligence to their body shape. They never wear a mask in the office, yet the boss indulges them completely because they are all very good at deceiving others!
The boss keeps saying all day that they need to give an account to the people in Japan. It is laughable to hear—it's nothing but lie after lie.
This workplace is not suitable for people with ideas or enthusiasm. If you want to challenge yourself and see how far you can go in cultivating patience and self-discipline, you can give it a try, but I guarantee your physical and mental health will suffer.
The company is fairly clean, and the brand is big enough to create the illusion of happiness for many people.
You have to clock in even when going to lunch, and the boss often deliberately comes into the office at lunchtime. So having lunch becomes guilt-inducing. It’s truly astonishing.
Small company. 24-hour surveillance camera audio and video recording. Clock in four times a day. Suitable for those who want to devote their lives to work, and also suitable for people without ambition.
They like to keep things vague, betting that you won’t dare ask questions. They question and deal with the people who raise issues. They ask you to sign to evade the employer’s legal liability, because the employer doesn’t even understand the Labor Standards Act very well.
The company location is relatively convenient for transportation, and the colleagues are fairly friendly.
The boss has unconventional ideas and is also very good at filling in the blanks, coming up with inexplicable policies that are impossible to understand.
