Pros

The benefits policy is pretty good; everything that should be provided is provided. Performance bonus threshold (you can see it, but you can't get it).

Cons

The shortcomings vary depending on the position applied for. I applied for the self-operated stores division (and have since left). During the interview, the job responsibilities were described as relatively simple, but the actual work differed considerably. This position has a performance bonus system: every store under your supervision must have been open for at least three months and meet its performance and profitability targets. If the target is missed in even one month, the bonus cannot be collected. Basically, it is very difficult to achieve. In addition, the job involves document processing, proposal planning, store management, handling customer complaints, scheduling, negotiating with vendors, and meetings every two weeks, so the work is relatively complicated.

Actually, the work mentioned above is still manageable. The main difficulty is that the direct supervisor does not come from a management background (they came from the kitchen), so there is a gap between their abilities and their position. As a result, the freedom given in the work is very high, but the pressure is also considerable. They cannot understand how much time your work requires and simply take the personal view that it should not take much time. Have you ever asked the supervisor for help? No! No wonder they cannot understand.

I resigned during the pandemic because part-time workers were not allowed to work, so the specialist had to help cover the store while also carrying out the original job duties. Every day was so hectic that I was constantly scrambling, and I could not handle the work effectively. On top of that, I was asked every day what proposals I had and told to submit reports by specific dates. I also had to document my daily work processes with photos to prove that I was not slacking off at work!!

The salary and job responsibilities are not balanced. The supervisor just gives orders and presents reports at meetings, while I also had to help organize them. The relevant materials were all taken from the specialists' hard work and turned into ready-made content for the supervisor. Supervisor, please do better, okay? Six years already—don't keep your mind so rigid. No wonder you can't keep anyone working for you.
