There aren't really any advantages.

When the government issued a universal payment of NT$10,000 during the pandemic, I was also unable to receive it because I had not been insured. An absolutely outrageous company—I could only resign.

High turnover, perpetually unable to recruit enough staff. Base salary is already zero, yet being late still results in a 300 deduction plus an additional deduction for the number of minutes late—ridiculous!! This company really loves deducting money. The owner’s wife often calculates salaries incorrectly and also frequently pays them late, so you always have to check for yourself whether the money has come in. Every morning, there is a morning meeting; every Wednesday evening, there is a weekly meeting followed by cleaning together; and once a month, there is another full-day monthly meeting. I have never worked at a company that loves meetings this much. The boss asks about performance every day and seems to know roughly how much will be collected over the next few months. The manager loves to paint rosy pictures, setting a ceiling as the goal so that we can see it but never reach it, saying: “I’m willing to give it to you; you just haven’t achieved it.” The boss says he used to be in sales himself, so he knows what salespeople want to do in private. Simply put, he enjoyed himself when he was an employee and now, as the boss, doesn’t want his employees to enjoy themselves.
