At first, the company made the position sound appealing, saying that after three months of primarily doing graphic design work (in-house), they would definitely raise the salary to 30,000.
However, they later said that they could not raise it to 30,000, citing sick leave/personal leave as the reason.
When terminating employment, they only notified me half an hour before the end of the workday that that day would be my last day.
More importantly, they were reluctant to provide the subsequent “involuntary separation certificate” and kept saying that the Labor Bureau had “suggested” that I return to sign it.
(The employment service center clearly said that the dismissed employee does not need to return to the company to sign it.)
However, at the beginning, they asked the dismissed employee to sign a “voluntary resignation letter.”
As for the sales position, because it involves solar energy (fishery-solar and agriculture-solar projects), there is no base salary of 30,000 if there are no sales results for three months.
Sales staff are also not covered by Labor Insurance or National Health Insurance and must enroll through a trade association themselves.
Therefore, friends considering taking a sales position at this company should think it over carefully.
