There is basically no protection under labor laws at all, and they constantly ask you to handle work-related matters at home on weekends; all of this is treated as only natural. Work is also assigned based on what you know how to do, so they make you work yourself to death, rather than considering a manageable workload as the standard. The only advantage is probably that everyone is friendly and easy to get along with. Although supervisors do take advantage of you, they don't go so far as to be complete assholes.
