Pros
1. There is a lot of freedom during work; you can casually go get coffee, use the restroom, or smoke.
2. Applying for overtime pay and the like is hassle-free.
3. Supervisors and colleagues are approachable.
Cons
1. I often have to travel for work. For same-day round trips, only transportation costs or fuel expenses are reimbursed, with no additional travel allowance. If you live farther away from the business trip location, sorry, but you’ll have to get up an hour or two earlier.
2. The workload is stressful. Because of the customization involved, there are often a pile of orders and requests, but no corresponding manpower.
3. The chief operating officer is very good at verbally dressing people down.
