The boss is really stingy. At work, everything is your responsibility, and after work, it’s still your responsibility. In the middle of the night, he even likes to message you on LINE asking why you didn’t check your email. Do you fucking think people don’t need to sleep? He says it’s a responsibility-based system, and tells you that any arrival time is fine, but when you say you’ll arrive a little later, he still asks why you’re late. Is he an idiot? How long is he going to keep repeating himself? The boss only sleeps 3–4 hours a day—that’s because you choose to; it doesn’t mean everyone has to sleep only 3–4 hours like you.
He treats office staff like dogs, ordering them around, and gives you only a tiny commission. After signing several contracts worth over one million each, he gives you only NT$7,000 in commission per contract. You could make more money lying down than from the NT$7,000 he pays you each time. He’s extremely stingy, and in the end uses the money he saves to buy a factory he had been renting.
Whether you’re considering working there as a part-timer or a full-time employee, you really need to think it over. Don’t waste your precious life at this company—you deserve better!

The boss is terrible and stingy. During the interview, they absolutely will not tell you that the workday is 9 hours, and that you should find time to eat when you can. Being too busy to eat is considered reasonable. If your English is good and you want a raise, it is possible—but the key is whether the boss wants to give you one. If they do not, they will not even let you take the English test, and will delay it as long as they can. You can only take one day off per month on holidays. If you want to take other holidays off, you have to use leave, and your perfect-attendance bonus of 2,000 will be deducted. The 27K mentioned above already includes the perfect-attendance bonus. Later, the salary will change to a base salary of 22K plus a 2,000 perfect-attendance bonus; if you work additional days instead of taking holidays off, you get another 3,000. You only get 27K by sacrificing your holidays. The boss does not take care of employees. If they do not like you and want you to leave, you are out. They want to keep only people who will cooperate with them completely and preferably have no opinions about the work at all. As a result, employee turnover is very high, and currently everyone is new. Think carefully before applying!
