Learned the who, what, when, where, and why.
Those who understand, understand.
There is nothing that can be improved; Boss Qian's personality is simply the way it is.
The office is extremely quiet, and colleagues don't dare communicate much with one another.
The boss has a crazy desire to control people's minds. If you work here, be prepared for psychological and physical harm. I really don't understand why anyone would work here?! Toxic company—stay away.
The written test includes both English-to-Chinese and Chinese-to-English translation, mixed with professional IPC industry terminology that people outside the industry may not understand.
The company environment is clean and tidy, and the interviewer takes pride in their industry knowledge. Overall, there was nothing unusual, and they did not proactively disclose the requirements that would apply after joining the company.
Although I was not hired, a friend was hired this year and was told after joining that they had to pass training and examinations. Before that, they could neither hand over their work nor obtain a system account. The first three examinations consisted of a very lengthy company presentation, a written test on computer specifications, and a very lengthy product presentation. The presentation standard required was almost at a TED-talk level, while the passing criteria were determined internally by the company.
My friend has already resigned without knowing which of the first two tests they failed. I hope to remind applicants that if they do not come from the IPC industry and have financial pressure—for example, if they are the only source of income in their household—they should assess the risks carefully. Everyone comes after resigning from their previous job, yet the company does not disclose in advance that it will use multiple hurdles after onboarding to screen candidates, which may result in people losing their employment and being forced to find another job within a short period. They may rush into a job that is not in their best interests, or fail to find one because the timing is unfavorable, leading to immense pressure, insomnia, anxiety, and suffering. It is an enormous burden on both physical and mental health. I hope not to see another uninformed person join the company and endure the same pressure.
The company premises are clean.
[Marketing Interview]
The written test lasted 30 minutes and consisted of a double-sided sheet including English-to-Chinese and Chinese-to-English translation. The interviewer was a female manager from the marketing department. This position involves sourcing internationally and requires analyzing advertising placements, with website article writing and similar content as secondary duties.
During the conversation, the female manager used negative wording in her responses and frequently interrupted, which left a very poor impression. Based on past experience, this type of personality tends to be domineering, raising concerns about future collaboration. For example, when asked about the possible reasons why the person who previously held the position had left, she smiled and said, “Do you think they would tell me the truth?” She then said that the former employee had become less and less motivated compared with other colleagues the longer they stayed. (Employers like to ask about reasons for leaving, but job applicants can of course ask in return.)
In addition, I could not sense the qualities of “respect and listening” during the conversation, and she appeared to have a negative mindset.
Those who are proficient in English and have an international sourcing background would be a good fit for this position, but attention should be paid to the manager’s personality issues. Judging from the reasons given by former employees for leaving, this manager also does not appear to be good at motivating employees and tends to maintain a negative mindset.
Terrible colleagues

There are no meals provided for overtime, nor any company trips, so you can devote yourself completely to work and burn your life away.
Usually, you can only work overtime until eight or nine in the evening, which cannot satisfy my workaholic heart.
The office is old, the meeting rooms are dim, and people smoke at the entrance!
The interviewer dressed casually, smelled strange, liked asking hypothetical questions, seemed unrealistic, and loved making grand promises.
It seems there aren't any....
