The food is delicious, and the chefs take their work seriously.
The HR department is dedicated and often organizes seminars and activities.
There are problems with the management system and processes.
1. Inexperienced people leading experts (new product development projects)
a. Before developing the new product, Marketing had not conducted sufficient market research, so it was only after development that they discovered the finished product could not achieve the originally established objectives. Candidate products described as low-oxalate had already been categorized as relatively high-oxalate among the various vegetable items. Even after being informed by R&D, Marketing insisted on proceeding.
b. During new product development, there were conflicting internal opinions and a lack of communication. It was only when the experiment was underway that it was discovered the development objectives had not been approved by the supervisors, resulting in the experiment being temporarily suspended and wasting human and material resources.
c. After development of the new product was completed, the sales format remained unclear. Only after cultivation of the new variety had been completed did they suddenly request a change to the packaging bags, requiring the experiment to be redone and resulting in wasted time.
These problems could be avoided through prior communication and consensus-building, rather than waiting until the vegetables had already been planted before suddenly terminating the project or changing the packaging, thereby creating friction between departments.
2. Chaotic and unclear management systems
a. When carrying out an overseas technology transfer project, the overtime pay multiplier had been agreed upon before departure. After the employees had gone abroad, the supervisors held a private meeting and decided to use a different calculation method, leaving the employees on business trips at a loss when submitting their expense claims.
b. When carrying out an externally funded subsidy project, the personnel salary expenses originally budgeted were not actually paid to the employees participating in the project according to the applicable categories. Instead, a one-time [bonus] payment amounting to less than 10% of the originally budgeted expenses was issued, showing disregard for the contributions of the project participants and ignoring the project budget items.
c. When carrying out a new product project assigned by a supervisor, employees were informed without warning that it would be terminated halfway through, disregarding the cultivation and development process.
d. Because of a staffing shortage on the production line, each department was assigned to provide weekly support for the originally scheduled work. The support period lasted two months, delaying the original experimental project. The company showed no active effort to recruit additional personnel.
e. To conduct a new fertilizer trial, a fertilizer safety assessment was performed, but the company instead criticized the employees conducting it rather than reviewing the supplier. As a result, the people serving as the company’s safety gatekeepers were treated as the guilty parties, while the supplier was completely unaffected.

The staff were in a great hurry, and the interview process also seemed polite but was quite rushed
They did not seem willing to explain much about the salary and benefits, and glossed over them hastily
