I applied for the position of sales assistant in Kaohsiung.
On weekdays, I was the only person working at the entire company. In the morning, the sales representative would come into the office to take care of some matters and then go out to conduct sales activities.
The workplace was one of the residential units in an apartment building!
On the day of the interview, a manager from Taichung came down to Kaohsiung to provide support and work.
As soon as I entered, the environment was extremely poor. The entire place smelled strongly of dogs and pets. I don't know whether it was because of the pet food.
The interview went very well, and afterward they asked when I could start work. I agreed!
Two days before I was supposed to start, they told me that I needed to go to Taipei for a one-month training trip (the interview had mentioned one week), along with some unreasonable conditions. I subsequently asked whether the company would cover the high-speed rail and accommodation costs, but they only replied that they still didn't know!
Later, they said all kinds of nonsense about there having been many changes to the position! In short, they were telling me not to go to work! Truly the worst company I have ever interviewed with!
You could be chased by dogs while cycling to work; now that they’ve moved from the original location, you might not be chased by dogs anymore.
One day, I was called into the office and semi-coerced into signing some strange documents.
After submitting my resignation, the boss would immediately transfer you to the warehouse and make you work there until your departure.
They are extremely dedicated to exploiting their employees, and even hired specialized legal counsel for it—truly impressive.
There are absolutely no advantages.
Be careful if you come to work for this company. My position was sales assistant. While I was still employed, I received a call from the New Taipei City Government asking about the progress of my job search, but I was not looking for a job at all, and my work was going fine. I asked the New Taipei City Government staff member about it, and they said they had received a notice of my layoff on a certain date. When I heard the date, I realized that the layoff notice had been filed just a few days after I reported for work. (To emphasize, my work performance was completely normal, I had no indication that I was going to be fired, and I continued working normally for more than two months before finding out that such a layoff notice existed.) Later, when I confirmed this with HR, they said that their company files a layoff notice as soon as a new employee starts work, because they want to protect the company itself. If they feel that a new employee is unsuitable, they can make the person leave immediately without giving the required ten days' advance notice or informing them in advance. If there are any questions, their HR even brings in a legal consultant to explain and legitimize this practice. Their employment insurance enrollment is essentially filed together with a layoff notice. Be careful if you want to work there!! They absolutely do not tell you that a layoff notice will be filed, and instead make these behind-the-scenes moves! Later, I asked them to withdraw the layoff notice, but they refused. Therefore, I personally felt that this company was absolutely not worth staying at, so I resigned voluntarily and asked them to withdraw the layoff notice. Only then were they willing to withdraw it! What an outrageous company! (Everyone, they are not doing this because they want to drive out talented employees! They do it because they are seriously short-staffed and have an extremely high turnover rate!) This company is located in Wugu District, New Taipei City! The office is made up of sheet-metal structures and shipping containers! The environment is ordinary, but the staff are terrible! The accounting assistant and HR are inefficient and arrogant! The female administrative employee in the warehouse is self-important and looks down on everyone! As for the sales staff—I don't know～but you can hear the sales team complaining about the company, their colleagues, and absolutely everything every day!! The sales team is full of resentment, with no positive work atmosphere at all. Please think carefully before joining!!
You can wear flip-flops to work
The boss shows absolutely no respect for professionalism or talent.
The work system is poorly organized, and the bonus system is merely empty promises. Even when sales staff meet their targets, the company withholds and does not pay their bonuses. Deducting pay and issuing demerit points are the most common practices, and employees are also forced to sign a pile of documents with no legal validity. On makeup workdays, the company forces employees to use their annual leave to take the day off; those without annual leave are placed on unpaid leave.
The interview process was pleasant, the workplace is relaxed, and you can bring young children from home to work. The salary structure is explained upfront during the first interview.
1. Coworkers love chatting and gossiping. There is little spirit of mutual cooperation between departments; as soon as the workload increases, people start complaining incessantly. Employees generally resent the boss, and the work atmosphere is poor.
2. The company operates out of a building made of corrugated metal. The connecting roads have many potholes, there are no streetlights at night, and there are many stray dogs nearby.
