Leaving work on time

The company is small, so operations are not as fast as those of a typical company.

1. Order processing: Your company has been operating for more than 10 years. Since you are engaged in online shopping, could the order-processing process be further optimized? This is the first time I have seen a company process orders by handwriting. In addition, there are 4–5 platforms, and despite having so many platforms, employees are still required to finish writing everything by hand within half an hour. Is this testing employees’ handwriting speed?

2. No inventory management system: Your company sells many types of products, yet does not even have an inventory management system. Checking inventory requires looking through 2–3 months of stocktaking records to determine whether products are in stock, even testing employees’ memory. With an inventory management system, checking inventory could be completed in just 5–10 minutes, whereas following your company’s process takes approximately 15–20 minutes.

3. Salary: For e-commerce, the salary is relatively low—NT$24,000 plus NT$1,000 for perfect attendance. For Taichung, this is genuinely low; this is a southern Taiwan salary level. Consumption costs in central Taiwan differ from those in southern Taiwan, so employees should not be compensated with such a low salary.
