All my colleagues are great
Once upon a time
There was a short-tempered king
In his kingdom, there were one hundred subjects
The subjects were not allowed to have their own thoughts
They had to be controlled by the king at all times
So if they wanted to do the laundry, cook... or handle everyday chores
They had to ask the king for permission first
If they had ideas of their own
The king would fly into a rage and either behead them or make sure they could never live in peace
Everyone had to ask permission for every move they made
But in fact, the king had no way to review all the requests
So subjects whose requests were not approved in time would starve to death
Or the king might have approved a request
But because he forgot
Many subjects were mistakenly killed
The king would go out on patrol almost every day
Breaking into people's homes
Making a great commotion regardless of the time of day or night
Demanding that the subjects report what contributions they had made that day
If they couldn't answer, or if he didn't like the answer, he would burn down their homes
This king had been cursed
So he never had a day when he was in a good mood
He could not speak properly
Everything he said was unpleasant
His habit of angrily shouting at his subjects was an everyday occurrence
On top of that, this king was extremely concerned with saving face
He would often destroy an entire city just to preserve his reputation
For the sake of his pride, he did many unbelievable things
And the subjects had to take responsibility for all the crimes he committed
The subjects could not bear living in such a kingdom
Because whatever they did was wrong
They were threatened every day with having their entire families burned alive
Otherwise, they were frequently taken away to be flogged
The pressure became so great that they all committed suicide
So there were no adults left in the kingdom
Only children remained, fending for themselves
This king was extremely fond of beautiful women
Beautiful women did not have to work
The village where a beautiful woman lived could be happy, prosperous, and peaceful
While the other villages suffered terribly
And they were not allowed to complain
Because the king was good at maintaining appearances
He promoted himself everywhere as a good king
The people of other kingdoms
Still thought he was a powerful and conscientious king
They thought all his subjects were wealthy
They thought his castle was made entirely of gold
In reality, his castle was made of straw
There was not a speck of gold
Because the king had squandered it all
The king also forbade the people from helping him think of ways to make money
Because the king believed he was the wisest of all
Only what he said could be right
He often called the people idiots, morons, and fools
So the people were poor and grew thinner by the day
Some fled
Those who could not escape continued to be exploited
All the subjects watched and waited for the day the king would finally fall
Everything complies with the Labor Standards Act, and the salary and benefits are average to slightly above average.
You can learn knowledge that you normally would not have much exposure to.
If you can withstand the psychological pressure of being berated, this can be a very good job.
There is no comprehensive training SOP, yet the tasks are detailed and complicated, making it very easy to make mistakes.
You cannot leave work on time, and there is no overtime pay.
The supervisor is prone to losing their temper and frequently uses foul language.
Instructions are unclear and change constantly.
Different people have different ways of doing things, so it is impossible to find a way that will not get you berated.
