A few years ago, I applied for a store manager position. I happened to see this company today, so I thought I would write about what happened at the time.
They originally scheduled my interview for 4:00 p.m., but someone called me early that morning and said that the manager was out and would not be able to get back in time, so the interview had to be changed to 4:30. Since I wasn't familiar with Neihu and was worried about getting lost, I set out early. When I arrived, because it was still early, I rested at the Hi-Life next to the company. Then, sometime after 4:00, someone called me again and asked why I hadn't arrived yet if my interview was scheduled for 4:00. After I explained the situation, I hung up and immediately went into the company.
However, during the interview, there was only an HR staff member who asked me to fill out some forms and then said that the manager had not returned yet and that they would contact me again once the manager came back. She then dismissed me. Of course, I never received any follow-up call. It was obvious that they didn't want to waste time on me because they thought I was late.
