This company has two types of positions.
1. EMT accompanying-vehicle staff
They work nearly 400 hours per month.
Their monthly pay is only 25K (or less).
They start work at 8:00 every day
and finish at 18:00.
They get six days off per month.
They also need to be on duty for ten days (or more) each month.
(Being on duty means working overnight that day, so the shift runs from 8:00 that day until 18:00 the following day.)
On workdays, as long as they are not out on a call, they remain on standby.
They must always be ready to respond to a call and head out immediately.
In other words, they never have any real break during the entire workday.
On top of that, if they have to work additional overtime,
regardless of how long they work that day, they receive at most 200 dollars as a “missed-meal allowance.”
There is no such thing as overtime pay.
They also get neither time off nor overtime pay for any national holidays.
In addition, employees do not clock in or out,
and there are no pay statements.
Attendance details are not disclosed either;
there is only a work schedule.
The company also does not follow the principle that employees must have at least one day off within every seven-day period.
2. EMT drivers
Basically, everything is the same as above.
The only difference is how they are paid.
They are paid per dispatch.
For each trip, drivers receive different pay depending on the destination,
so the more trips they make, the more they earn.
They also earn more for trips to farther destinations (distance is also a factor).
However, the dispatches are controlled by the boss.
This company is also run like a family business;
the boss’s sons, nephews, sons-in-law, and various other relatives all work there.
The more profitable trips are given to family members.
Unless they are favored drivers,
most other drivers end up receiving cheap jobs that pay 50 dollars.

After I left, I heard that there had been some changes.
