1. The headquarters office doorbell is broken
2. There is no sign at the company entrance
3. The brand image and flagship store have a refined, high-quality feel,
but compared with the headquarters office environment,
the disparity in image is far too great! Very disappointing⋯
4. The office is in an old apartment building
There is no reception desk, and the corridors are filled with miscellaneous items
The space is cramped and feels basic
There are few team members, and the atmosphere is so-so
There were 2 interviewers:
a female marketing staff member and a male marketing manager
Interview content: Generally, there were no major issues
The perceived shortcomings of the interview were:
The position applied for was: Marketing Planning *Customer Experience*
The job description was broad and in-depth
When the candidate asked about the job’s *KPIs and development prospects*,
The male interviewer said that he had
18 years of experience in database marketing
and stated that the position required the ability to plan an *O2O customer experience journey*.
He asked whether the candidate had planning experience.
After the candidate explained verbally,
it became apparent that the male interviewer asked the same question again.
The candidate proactively shared a portfolio
a flowchart of a member automation journey.
One of the statements made during the interview⬇️
*How did this become you interviewing me?*
It felt quite rude⋯
Only after the candidate asked for the second time
did the male interviewer respond regarding the *job KPIs*.
Overall,
too much time was spent discussing the customer journey,
abstract concepts, and approaches.
There was no discussion of the job objectives or development prospects.
It felt like a waste of time communicating. Thank you very much!
Best wishes for the successful operation of your company!
