I don’t know whether they still owe employees wages, but as an accountant, you should be mentally prepared for suppliers to call you every day saying that their invoices have been unpaid for several months and asking when they will be paid. Every time you confirm with the cashier, they just say “another day,” and then keep putting it off. It’s not only supplier invoices—other small payments are delayed too. They have even failed to pay labor and health insurance premiums, to the point that the person in charge’s account was seized and their wages were garnished. If you are not the person they want, they will steer you toward—and urge you to—resign and go home to recuperate so they won’t have to pay severance. I’ve heard they have driven several people away this way. If they really want to IPO, I definitely wouldn’t invest.
