The HR manager’s questions were very precise and professional, and the interview atmosphere was pleasant.
1) The branch manager was the only shortcoming. When I stated that my current marital status was “single,” he directly asked, “Do you have a girlfriend?” I answered, “No,” and he continued to ask, “Why not?” I got angry and replied directly, “My sexual orientation—this question has already crossed into my private life, hasn’t it?” When the manager asked this question, the HR manager from headquarters clearly signaled that it was inappropriate to ask. However, whether he did not notice or for some other reason, the branch manager insisted on pursuing the matter. Asking such a disrespectful and inappropriate question that probed into an applicant’s privacy was unprofessional and discourteous.
2) When overtime was mentioned, the other party’s attitude made me feel that your company seemed unwilling to pay the relevant overtime compensation (this is purely my personal view).
3) Administrative assistants also need to share responsibility for meeting sales targets.
