I can't comment too much; I can only say that normal workplace values may change.

If the company is looking for office staff, regardless of the position, I imagine it may still have openings for sales and administrative assistants, among others. I can only say: please protect your rights as an employee. Also, the colleagues lack professionalism and are highly passive (somewhat like quiet quitting). This may indicate that the company's management and operations are not being handled in a way befitting a company that has been in business for 40 years. It is simply a shame.
