- The boss is very young and highly vindictive. Although the company has only three people, its organizational chart contains more than a dozen or even twenty positions.
- The boss likes to micromanage. All work must be done according to his “requirements.” Work that should take around 16 hours must be completed within five to six hours because he believes that, during working hours, the only things employees should do are work and go to the bathroom; there is no such thing as taking a moment to catch your breath.
- Employees are threatened with being replaced by AI to improve efficiency, yet the company is unwilling to spend even the 600-plus yuan per month on AI tools. Some tools that are routinely needed have not even been upgraded to versions with AI functionality. They say they will research how to use AI for automation, but have taken absolutely no action. I feel like, why not just fire me quickly and spend the time and money on AI instead? Wouldn’t that be easier for both sides?
- Purely my personal impression: The boss seems to lack empathy. He has no problem with ordinary social interactions, but believes employees need to obey his work instructions and requirements one hundred percent, suggesting controlling tendencies.
