Please forgive me for not being able to say anything good.
You apply for Department A, but they may send you to Departments B or C instead. They bring people in first and figure things out later (because they are desperately understaffed—people keep coming and leaving). The old-timers, including the boss, believe that once you join the company, you should follow the company’s arrangements, and they even claim it is giving you a chance to learn. Ugh!
There was once an employee who had worked in the OP, overseas, accounting, front desk, and Project departments; moving people between departments is also one of the ways they drive employees out.
They keep inexplicably asking employees to change seats. Moving seats because of a department transfer would of course be reasonable, but even when you are in the same department, sitting in the same row, they make you move one seat over, saying it is for a new employee. Then the new employee leaves, and you have to move back. They seem to have nothing better to do than constantly move computers and monitors around.
The boss always says that money is not an issue, but when it is time to pay out money, it suddenly becomes an issue.
If you want to gain experience in freight forwarding, you have better options. Don’t come here and waste your life. The only thing this place can give you is disgusting behavior.
