Pros

The location is convenient, with easy access to transportation.

The restroom has a bidet toilet, and a cleaning lady cleans it every day.

Cons

The boss brings a Doberman to work every day. Sometimes the smell is very strong and unpleasant, and sometimes you can see fine dog hair floating around.

Because it is a guard dog with a sensitive temperament, it barks from time to time, and a colleague was attacked before.

The boss has a very self-centered personality.

Although the colleague who was attacked previously received compensation for medical expenses and so on, the boss later sent out a statement that essentially said: As long as everyone does not provoke the dog, nothing will happen; if you are attacked, it is your own fault.

If you have ever done something that displeased her, everything you do is wrong, and it is very difficult to clear your name afterward.

Although it is an internet company, the atmosphere is dull and oppressive. If you hear people talking, it is usually employees discussing work at their respective desks; most of the time, all you hear is typing. If you chat in the pantry or restroom, you will be watched particularly closely. Later, when other issues arise, they will all be brought up together, with insinuations that employees who have time to chat must be idle and have nothing to do.

IT is entirely handled by external contractors, so if you genuinely want to learn a complete team development process, that is not possible here. If you want to improve or develop your technical skills, you may want to consider a company with an in-house technical team.

The flexible working hours are: start work between 9:30 and 10:00; finish work between 19:00 and 19:30.

If you are more than 30 minutes late (clocking in at 10:31), you are forced to take half a day of leave (4 hours). However, the morning only consists of three hours, and I only discovered by looking at the attendance rules that the lunch break is also counted as part of the morning half-day. Shouldn't this be illegal?

The salary is on the low side for the industry. From time to time, the company also points out how much time it spends allowing everyone to participate in various activities, calculating each person's hourly wage, the total amount, and how much money the company has spent. If the company were genuinely trying to develop its employees for their benefit, it would not go out of its way to say things like this.

The benefits are average. The snack cabinet, which is commonplace at internet companies, is only restocked about once every six months—there is no point expecting any other benefits. Birthdays are also celebrated together once a month with just a cake, and even though they order a regular-sized cake, it is cut into a complete mess every time.

They keep emphasizing that they are genuinely very good to their employees. If a company is really good, it wouldn't have to keep emphasizing it, right?
