The CEO is mentally ill! (He said so himself.) Don’t waste your time interviewing!!!

I agree with what the others said—the CEO really has serious problems.

As soon as I arrived, he said he has a mental illness and would swear. I suggest he learn about the newly revised anti-bullying regulations.

Moreover, he was extremely disrespectful from beginning to end and very arrogant. He was dressed very casually in shorts and a short-sleeved shirt, and his appearance was nothing special, yet he criticized other people.

He also mentioned that the working hours are long and the pressure would be very high. Could I accept that?

I replied that it would not be a problem if the compensation were commensurate.

He responded that he thought I was a blank slate and not a senior HR professional, so he could not offer NT$50,000. Why waste time inviting me to an interview in the first place?

I replied that my previous companies had offered that amount, and he asked why I had resigned.

(Leaving a job isn’t only about salary, is it?)

Then he said that if I had no questions for him, the interview was over. Judging by how afraid he seemed of me, I consider it an accomplishment that I didn’t lose my temper and argue with him on the spot.

It seems he thinks that having money gives him the right to insult people and act crazy. The key point is that he can’t even offer much money. What a joke.

Other than that, HR is normal and there are no particular problems.

There is a strange altar with deities from a non-mainstream religion next to the office. Before the interview, you have to fill out very traditional paper forms asking a whole bunch of questions, as well as a personality test.
