This hotel does not take workplace safety seriously

While I was working in engineering and maintenance at this hotel,

because a room was being renovated,

the engineering and maintenance staff also had to do carpentry work.

I happened to be holding a very heavy board,

and I fell completely off the ladder.

The A-frame ladder bent completely out of shape.

The engineering and maintenance supervisor did not even take me to see a doctor.

They covered up the workplace safety accident

and also dismissed me.

Later, the areas where I had fallen started hurting badly.

After an X-ray, the doctor said there was calcification.

The more I think about it, the angrier I get.

If I had understood occupational safety laws at the time,

I definitely would have sued this company.
