軒郁國際股份有限公司
Pros

Close to the MRT and convenient transportation

Attractive storefront and open space

The reception was very courteous, and water was provided

Cons

The process lasted nearly a month and consisted of four interview rounds,

from HR and the HR manager to the hiring manager and general manager,

including two interviews that required presentations to be prepared in advance.

During the process, I prepared project achievements and future plans according to the job requirements,

investing considerable time in organizing the materials and creating the presentations.

I also received positive feedback multiple times during the interviews,

including recognition of my professional abilities and statements such as “We look forward to working with you in the future.”

Based on these signals, I also put other interviews and offers on hold,

choosing to focus on waiting for the final result.

However, after I proactively followed up on the progress, the response I received was:

👉 “The company’s strategy has changed, and IT will move toward outsourcing in the future.”

There is nothing inherently objectionable about the result itself,

but after four rounds of interviews—even requiring presentation preparation—

I was only then told that “the position direction no longer exists.”

For job seekers, this is not merely a matter of the outcome,

but a problem with the maturity of the process and decision-making.

If a company conducts a complete interview process and requires additional preparation

while the job requirements have not yet been clearly defined,

it is effectively transferring the cost to the job seeker.

This experience also served as a reminder to me, and I would like to share it with friends who are currently job hunting:

👉 A large number of interview rounds and a lengthy process do not necessarily mean the opportunity is stable

👉 Even after reaching interviews with senior management and receiving positive feedback

👉 Until you have formally received an offer, you should still keep all options open

Because some companies have not even figured out for themselves

whether they actually want to fill the position.
