Pros
The company is very lax; many people are late to work, and nobody really cares.
Cons
There is a lot of scheming between departments. Besides having to guard against people from other departments trying to undermine you, you also have to watch out for some senior managers.
People who are too capable basically take on everything, while those who lack ability generally get their jobs through connections.
