During the first round, we discussed salary expectations. I asked for nothing more than the standard market rate appropriate for my years of experience, but HR replied that they couldn’t offer such a high salary. Yet, near the end of the interview, they still proactively scheduled the second-round interview and mentioned a time slot they wanted me to reserve for an in-person third-round interview. What kind of company is this? They really seem to think the whole world revolves around them.

A pitiful company, with a laughable salary and interviews at the level of a tech-industry giant. Its capital is only NT$5 million and it has just 25 employees—if I took off my glasses, I might have thought I was interviewing with Google.
