A NT$70 daily meal allowance is provided (but it is limited to vegetarian meals).
There is also a NT$60 subsidy for meat-based meals (but it is not paid in cash).
There are a lot of drawbacks.
1. New employees are expected to take out the garbage every day (including chasing after the garbage truck), until another new employee comes along to take over this lousy task. The garbage also includes the private trash of the boss, who lives upstairs.
2. The female supervisor has poor emotional control; you can often see her loudly berating people in the office. The boss’s wife, who occasionally appears, is the same way.
