Pros

You can join the company without experience. When working abroad, you don't have to rent your own place, and you can keep the air conditioning on all the time. You can go downstairs and start working right away. Working overseas lets you meet different people and try foreign cuisines. Toilet paper is provided for wiping your butt.

Cons

Being able to go downstairs and start work means you have to work overtime on your own initiative until you drop dead. The training before being sent abroad is completely impractical. The manager at the assigned location is like a weasel. Communication between the PFD division and the Taiwan headquarters is fine, and the Taiwanese supervisors are genuinely very helpful. The garment division's domestic and overseas teams seem like aliens communicating with aliens. There are separate cliques at each assigned location, but people generally get along fine. Coworkers are passable. Employees all seem like moles and cannot communicate. No matter which boss with family connections it is, they only say motivational-sounding things that are actually completely useless. Finally, the salary for overseas assignments is very low, but they will tell you that the company spends money to send you abroad. In reality, at this salary, no one would want to come even if the company spent nothing. Also, at the beginning, the overseas-assignment salary is not even full pay. The base salary in Taiwan is also very low. The year-end bonus depends on the department you are in overseas; in some departments, it is basically impossible to receive a good year-end bonus.
